Answer There is noting bad about disappearing ads. If ad is marked as Disappeared, that means first of all that CLAD was successful at getting it live on Craigslist.
Therefore, if you have disappeared ads in the list please first of all give CLAD a credit for doing its job perfectly.
Next, as you may know, Craigslist and other publishers split ads in pages on their listings for convenience.
So when ad is initially published, it appears on the first page in the list of ads.
As you may also know, there are other people who want their ads published.
So as more and more ads get published on the first page (which has a limit of 100 ads),
good chances are that your ad will soon DISAPPEAR from the first page and appear on the second. As
time comes, your ad may even move to the 3rd page! Then again to the 4th, 5th and so on.
Needless to say, it is not CLAD's fault that your ad has moved off the 1st page in the listing.
It is natural process and the makers of CLAD cannot be blamed for it.
This is also not an issue that can be fixed, since we cannot force Craigslist to keep your ad on the 1st page ALWAYS, and we are truly sorry for it.
The best we can do is try to re-post your ad to make it re-appear on the 1st page, which is exactly what CLAD does with default settings.
So please fear not if you see DISAPPEARED status. Please do not submit bug reports - there is nothing to be fixed.
