Combining tokens and mutations
Combining tokens and mutations
Article
Sometimes it may be useful to additionally mutate token variations.
Let's suppose you have the token {opening} with the following variations:
- Variation 1: Hello dear sirs
- Variation 2: Hello guys
- Variation 3: Hello ladies and gentlemen
Suppose that you want to mutate the word "Hello" in each of the variations, but you do not have the word "Hello" in the body/title of your ad. What you need to do, is temporarily type the word Hello in the body of your ad, click right mouse button and select Mutations. Mutate that word and then delete it from the body of your ad. Although you have deleted it, the mutation definition will remain there. Suppose, you mutated the word "Hello" in the body of your ad to the following variants:
- Variant 1: Hi
- Variant 2: Howdy
Now, suppose that the body of your ad looks like this:
-------- start body --------------
{opening}
Please buy my staff
-------- end body ----------------
When ads are generated, you will see the following 6 possible variations of the body:
Variation 1:
-------- start body --------------
Hi dear sirs
Please buy my staff
-------- end body ----------------
Variation 2:
-------- start body --------------
Howdy dear sirs
Please buy my staff
-------- end body ----------------
Variation 3:
-------- start body --------------
Hi guys
Please buy my staff
-------- end body ----------------
Variation 4:
-------- start body --------------
Howdy guys
Please buy my staff
-------- end body ----------------
Variation 5:
-------- start body --------------
Hi ladies and gentlemen
Please buy my staff
-------- end body ----------------
Variation 6:
-------- start body --------------
Howdy ladies and gentlemen
Please buy my staff
-------- end body ----------------
