Modem locks up during IP change
Modem locks up during IP change
Article
If your hadrware locks up during IP change cycle, most probably this is not CLAD's fault.
CLAD does not do any magic passes on your hardware other than going into your modem's (router's)
admin console and clicking on Restart/Reboot/Release/Renew etc. button. So if your modem
is locked up and admin console is not accessible (i.e. you cannot open your modem's admin
console in the web browser and reboot it manually), CLAD will not be able to do it either.
If the only way to restore your internet connection after lockup is to power your modem
off and on again, we are sorry but CLAD will not be able to do that. There is no way to
make CLAD pull the plug of your modem or push the power button on your modem.
